Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July white party and The Met Gala, I can’t choose one!
2. What are your hosting must haves?
Garnishes for a signature cocktail, fresh flowers, candles, music, and I always have games up my sleeve ready to go!
3. What's the best party you've ever been to?
My parents’ Fourth of July parties growing up! My dad worked on preparing a 45-minute firework show out of our garage for months leading up to July. My mom would organize backyard games for our annual “stars vs. stripes” competition that we held during a BBQ before the firework show on the golf course. My parents and their friends also planned a neighborhood “parade” in our cul-de-sac where all of the kids would decorate their scooters and bikes in red, white, and blue. I love a party that has structure and freedom at the same time, and looking back, that’s exactly what those parties were! It’s also the reason why the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday!

7. what’s your go-to cocktail or Mocktail?
During spring and summer, always an Aperol Spritz. If it’s fall or winter, anything with tequila.

It depends on what party playlist! My music ranges from Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald to Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, and Pink.
