Brooke Primm has 10+ years of event experience, from working on the Las Vegas Strip planning weddings, all the way to being the Director of Events for a hospitality company. She started The Uncommon Hostess in 2021 to bring bespoke events to Las Vegas. She now works in the digital space, creating a community of party enthusiasts & passionate hostesses looking for resources, inspiration & to connect through dinner parties.
1. What Event would you love to attend?
A LoveShackFancy event. I think they look so fun and girly. Plus, I always love the dress code.
2. What are your hosting must haves?
A good charcuterie board, a nice linen for the table, and lots of candles.
3. What's the best party you've ever been to?
My 30th birthday dinner party my sister hosted for me. She did such an amazing job. I look back at the pictures and still smile.

A gift for the hostess. I think we’ve lost the art of consideration & manners when it comes to attending parties at people’s homes. You should always ask if you can bring something, and if they say no… bring something anyway!
5. My perfect party has to have…
Lots of food and the right guest list. The right people at any party will make it memorable.
6. Who are your three dream dinner party guests (alive or dead)?
This is hard. Probably Victoria Beckham, Emily Post, and a First Lady from back in the day!
7. What's your go-to cocktail or mocktail?
Honestly, I am a red wine girl. Or an Olipop if I am not drinking. I am addicted to those!
