KATE SNEDEKER
Kate Snedeker is a rising University of Texas at Austin Senior majoring in Youth and Community Studies with a minor in Business Foundations. She loves to organize events and plans to do community relations and continue working for her nonprofit, Gray for Glioblastoma, post-grad.
She started Gray for Glioblastoma, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, to raise money for research and awareness of glioblastoma multiforme in 2021. Her dad, her best friend, biggest mentor, and the most incredible and involved father, was diagnosed with this disease in May of 2021. After discovering the lack of awareness and research funding for Glioblastoma, Kate knew she needed to use her action-based personality and her passion for philanthropy and event planning to find a way to make a difference in the brain cancer space. She wanted to create a space of community support for all those impacted by this terrible disease and to raise funds for research. After six months of hard work, learning, a lot of planning, and an application to the IRS, Gray for Glioblastoma was born. Gray for Glioblastoma continues to be Kate’s passion every day in memory of her father, Craig, who passed in March of 2023 after almost a two-year battle with Glioblastoma.

Coachella.
2. What are your hosting must haves?
Grandmillennial style tableware/decor, a really good theme, and lots of hydrangeas and peonies.
3. What's the best party you've ever been to?
My 21st birthday party was so much fun, and I would relive it every weekend if I could! It was Casamigos themed, and I went completely all out with specialty Casamigos cocktails, decor, and personalized bottles. It was outside by the pool filled with Casamigos blue pool floats to match my Casamigos blue dress.

My lipgloss, my portable charger, and a purse.
5. My perfect party has to have…
Dessert, a photographer, dance music on a rooftop during happy hour, and Casamigos.
6. Who are your three dream dinner party guests (alive or dead)?
Reese Witherspoon, Blake Lively, and Princess Diana.
7. what’s your go-to cocktail or Mocktail?
A frozen margarita, no salt.
